Maple Candied Jalapeño Baked Brie
A little sweet. A little heat. A whole lotta brie.
Warm, creamy brie topped with Sweet n’ Spicy Candied Jalapeños, toasted pecans and a generous drizzle of pure Canadian maple syrup. It’s sweet, savoury, spicy and ridiculously easy to make.
Serve it straight from the oven with crusty baguette, crackers or sliced apples and watch it disappear.

Ingredients
- 1 wheel of brie, approximately 8–12 oz
- ⅓–½ cup Sweet n’ Spicy Candied Jalapeños, roughly chopped
- 2 tbsp pure maple syrup
- 1–2 tsp syrup from the Candied Jalapeño jar
- ¼ cup pecans, roughly chopped
- 1 small sprig fresh rosemary, finely chopped — optional
- Sliced baguette, crackers and/or apple slices for serving
Directions
1. Get things hot.
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Prep the brie.
Place the wheel of brie in a small baking dish, cast-iron skillet or on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
You can leave the rind completely intact—it helps hold all that glorious melted cheese together.
3. Bring on the Candied Jalapeños.
Spoon the roughly chopped Sweet n’ Spicy Candied Jalapeños over the top of the brie. Drizzle with 1–2 teaspoons of syrup straight from the jar.
Sprinkle the chopped pecans over everything and add a little fresh rosemary if you're using it.
4. Bake.
Bake for approximately 12–15 minutes, until the brie is soft and gooey in the centre but hasn't completely collapsed.
5. Now bring in the maple.
Remove the brie from the oven and immediately drizzle 2 tablespoons of pure maple syrup over the warm Candied Jalapeños and pecans.
Let it run down the sides. That's not a problem. That's the plan.
6. Serve immediately.
Put the whole thing on the table while it's still warm and gooey. Serve with toasted baguette slices, crackers or crisp apple slices.
The Candied Jalapeño Company Tip
Don't overbake the brie. You want it molten on the inside but still holding its shape. About 12–15 minutes should do the trick.
And don't skip the maple syrup at the end. Adding it after baking keeps that unmistakable maple flavour front and centre alongside the sweet heat of the Candied Jalapeños.
