4. Food Safety and Storage

Do not consume a product if its seal is broken, its container is leaking or swollen, it appears spoiled, or you otherwise believe it may be unsafe. Contact us promptly at info@thecandiedjalapenocompany.com and retain the product, packaging, lot information and proof of purchase while we review the concern.

Once opened, products must be stored as directed on the label and used within the recommended period.

5. Prices and Payment

All prices are shown in Canadian dollars unless otherwise stated.

Prices, promotions and product availability may change without notice. Applicable taxes and shipping charges will be calculated or displayed during checkout.

You agree to provide current, complete and accurate billing, shipping and payment information. You represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.

Submitting an order does not guarantee acceptance. We reserve the right to refuse, limit or cancel an order for legitimate reasons, including:

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. Additional shipping charges resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address may be the customer’s responsibility.

Responsibility for an order passes to the customer upon delivery to the address provided, subject to any rights available under applicable law.

9. Returns and Refunds

Because our products are food items, returns and exchanges are generally not accepted for food-safety reasons.

Damaged, defective, incorrect or potentially unsafe products will be handled according to our Refund Policy. Our Refund Policy forms part of these Terms of Service.

Products purchased from an independent retail location are normally subject to that retailer’s return and refund policies. Food-safety or product-quality concerns may also be reported directly to us.

10. Promotions and Discount Codes

Promotions and discount codes may be subject to additional conditions, expiry dates and product restrictions. Unless otherwise stated:

Only one discount code may be used per order
Discounts cannot be exchanged for cash
Discounts cannot be applied retroactively
